University Heights II Renovation

We are a couple who hired Wilson Homes to fully renovate the main floor of our 15-year old bungalow while we lived in the lower level. One of us is a retired project manager and the other had a specific vision of what the finished product should be. Since we were living on-site we were able to view the work continuously. Because of all this, we knew we might be demanding clients for Rob, but the renovation went extremely well. Rob is knowledgeable, energetic, patient and good-natured so we got along with him very well. His preferred subcontractors are highly skilled and have a great working relationship with Rob. We had high expectations for our renovation and it turned out even better than what we had hoped. The original scope was performed on-time and on-budget. During the renovation we requested some additional work, which Rob and his crew willingly and efficiently accommodated. We would recommend Wilson Homes for any renovation or new home construction.

We recently had an addition added to our home to increase the size of our master bedroom . This included an increase to the size of our main bathroom , a new en-suite / laundry room and a marvellous walk- in closet. This renovation was done to make life easier for us , as life goes on . We had three contractors recommended to us by friends and also recommendations from the Calgary Home Show. When Rob came to our home we knew immediately that he was the one we would hire as he was easy to discuss our plans with . Rob was very open and upfront with every aspect of the renovation and had some very good suggestions for us to think about .He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about what we wanted. Through the entire process he went out of his way to meet our needs. His timelines and budget where followed throughout the building of our addition. Before any work was started he took steps to protect the condition of our home from any damage during the reno .The sub trades he supplied were excellent at every stage of the project and their work was top end and CLEAN . Everyday each worker cleaned before leaving and once the reno was completed a professional crew came in and cleaned thoroughly .They finished 450 sq foot addition is everything we wanted and we are extremely pleased with his work. We would recommend him to family, friends, and others wanting first class work done on their home.

Wilson Homes did an excellent job from start to finish. Their initial budget was fair and honest and they worked with us to save money where we could. We had the entire main floor of our 42 year old home renovated by Wilson Homes. When completed it was spectacular. Rob Wilson is a hands on contractor who takes a lot of pride in your renovation and is a pleasure to work with. He is always available and communicates with you regularly to ensure all your questions or concerns are being met. Rob has successfully completed two major renovation projects in our home. The first project was an entire main level renovation that was done in 2009 and the second the entire upper level renovation that was done in 2014. On both occasions our experience with Rob was positive and the transformation of our home was amazing. Never having renovated before we were nervous about the process, Rob was always patient and spent a great deal of time going over the plans, products, process and costs with us. He is a perfectionist and ensured that every detail met and on many occasion exceeded our expectations. Both projects went very smoothly and the quality of workmanship from Rob and his team was excellent. We are thoroughly pleased with our newly renovated home and receive many compliments on our beautiful kitchen and spa inspired bathrooms!
